S.D.V. decided to play creatively. TreizeAFC were relying on their ability to counter-attack. They were singing the praises of K. Prétôt 24 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to S.D.V.. T. Sandoval slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. S.D.V. had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

The rain made it hard for players like A. Sipaila to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. M. Bellés had a fantastic opportunity to put S.D.V. up another goal 55 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The suddenness of the TreizeAFC's D. Neubrecht's pass to R. Jorquera after 68 minutes caught the opposition wrong-footed, and they could only watch as the ball sailed home for 1 - 1. The visitors grabbed the lead after J. Cabrol's free kick succeeded, resulting in a score of 1 - 2. D. Neubrecht wanted to play on, but the TreizeAFC coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by T. Fotache. J. Cabrol left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. A. Ducuara was the replacement. S.D.V.'s T. Sandoval was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent. TreizeAFC will have to do without M. Dechant for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 82 minute mark. He was substituted by T. Lavialle. Due to some great work on the right wing S.D.V.'s R. Choquehuanca was able to even the score after 84 minutes to make the score 2 - 2. S.D.V. could have put themselves ahead after 85 minutes but T. Sandoval missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Coming in from the right, TreizeAFC had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 86 minutes, but T. Lavialle's attempt to finish was easily stopped. S.D.V. had a chance to take the lead after R. Choquehuanca's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 87 minutes. K. Prétôt didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. Possession in this half belonged to S.D.V., who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

S.D.V.'s best player was C. Setti. On the other hand, F. Pomes's play was disheartening. TreizeAFC's top performer was clearly F. Musmarra. R. Jorquera on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 2.
