The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 25386 had shown up at Seixaláxia for the match. Lander Reijerkerk was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Edvard Hansen and Isto Räty. A lot of people in the terraces claimed the penalty resulting in Pats's T. van Oers equaliser for 1 - 1 was a mistake by the referee. He did, however, have a very good view of the situation from his position. 20 minutes in, Seixal appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. After 27 minutes, Pats raised their score by one when 施. 懷耀 (Huaiyao)'s dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by A. Nascimento. 1 - 2. After 28 minutes, Pats's A. Freire burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 3. 29 minutes into the match, A. Nascimento came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. 33 minutes into the game, Seixal had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. After 35 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed A. Nascimento to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 4. Confident in their lead, Pats's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Halftime score was 1 - 4. Pats had most of the ball, with 72 percent of possession.

The Seixal players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. After 60 minutes, Seixal used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. 67 minutes into the game, Seixal seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Seixal manager used a brief break in play after 70 minutes to give the players new directives. After 73 minutes, Seixal were awarded a free kick as their counter attack broke down. The set piece was lifted over the top, intended to open up the defence. However, the target man seemed to be taken by surprise, and could not reach the ball before it crossed the line for a goal kick. Pats's 施. 懷耀 (Huaiyao) was shown a yellow card after 78 minutes for slicing down an opponent. I. Pérez's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Seixal, he bravely continued in the match. The Seixal coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. After 83 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Seixal found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. With 85 minutes played, J. Fonte nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Pats claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 76 percent.

Most important Seixal player was L. Kopycki. R. Jaureguiberry turned in a dismal performance, however. A. Nascimento performed admirably for Pats. T. van Oers on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 4.
