The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 78 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from K. Filipczyk, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. L. Gévai had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. After 81 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 2 - 2 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by G. Decensi. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Dwernicki, with 60 percent of the ball.

Dwernicki's top performer was clearly R. Golli. A. Danielczyk was a disappointment, however. M. Kluza performed admirably for Rybnik. However, A. Rivadavia made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 2.
