United mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Orzeł P saw most attack opportunities on the wings. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to S. Rannila, but the United player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 16 minutes, United did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, E. Chávez was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 0. Orzeł P reduced the lead after 18 minutes to 2 - 1 as T. Anafentos easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. United players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. 22 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as R. Dumitraşcu broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for United. 31 minutes into the game, F. Poník had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came C. Lucero. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to United, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

United's R. Trucios got himself booked for a foul. C. Lucero was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by F. Valente, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. United's F. Laszuk increased the lead to 4 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 65 minutes. United's R. Trucios put in a disappointing effort on a penalty after 66 minutes, firing just wide of the goal. D. Franceschetti was called on to replace United's F. Nosas after 75 minutes following a nasty collision. With 77 minutes played, the Orzeł P coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. H. Martis came on, R. Wetter had to leave the fray. United solidified their lead at the 79 minute mark, as S. Rannila dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 5 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by United, with 52 percent of the ball.

The most dominating United player was without a doubt S. Rannila. On the other hand, R. Trucios's play was disheartening. Orzeł P's best player was T. Anafentos. U. Olsson turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 1.
