N. Peshev came close to putting the visiting team one up 53 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but W. Piś managed to tip the ball to a corner. After 64 minutes, a penalty kick by N. Jansson could have resulted in the lead for the visitors, but the keeper made the save. Kaanbuyukhan had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 74 minutes in when D. Trausner came up alone against W. Piś who managed a block. It was almost a goal for Kaanbuyukhan following M. Iturbide's good header after a corner, it went just over the bar though. M. Rouille was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from Kaanbuyukhan's defence 86 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 0 - 1. After 88 minutes, Kaanbuyukhan's M. Iturbide burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. The referee showed FENERBAHÇE's E. Triebenbacher the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Kaanbuyukhan claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

F. Pomper performed admirably for FENERBAHÇE. A. Benzaquen turned in a dismal performance, however. Kaanbuyukhan's best player was M. Rouille. M. Iturbide on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
