A. Cedillo gave Zolfaghar the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Zolfaghar's A. Cedillo increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 26 minutes. Zolfaghar's F. Ferreira Silva saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 30 minutes. With the clock showing 31 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Perspolis_B resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by F. Akyol in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. Perspolis_B's H. Saarelainen got himself booked for a foul. The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 39 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving K. Fakour completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. 40 minutes into the game, Zolfaghar had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. After 41 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and I. Stãnescu gave the Zolfaghar supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Zolfaghar had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

During the break, Zolfaghar's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. As the match clock hit 46 minutes, Zolfaghar regrouped to try and keep their initiative in the game. L. Coletta high-fived V. Nedelescu as they swapped positions on the team. After 54 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Zolfaghar was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. Perspolis_B certainly deserved a goal after some stunning play down the left, but V. Brighina just wasn't able to finish. The game was close to savage at times, and Perspolis_B's H. Saarelainen received a second yellow card after 79 minutes; his ticket out of the game. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Zolfaghar, as F. Ferreira Silva left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. H. Gorgani took his place on the field. A great save by keeper H. Parnian Pour after 81 minutes kept the visitors in the game after D. Pascaru struck from the left with a real cannonball. Zolfaghar's L. Coletta refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 82 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Zolfaghar, with 61 percent of the ball.

Most important Zolfaghar player was J. Malpica. D. Pascaru was a disappointment, however. Perspolis_B's top performer was clearly M. Salary. H. Parnian Pour turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
