Puig scored for SOLRØD putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 37 minutes. Boys were close to putting the equaliser away after 37 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to S. Ebbesen in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. SOLRØD increased the lead as J. Puig struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave J. Davidsen from Boys a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 40 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 41 minutes, J. Góralewski put SOLRØD ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The crowd gasped as J. Cordes of SOLRØD was flattened by an opponent after 43 minutes and had to be carried off. H. Cintron wanted to play on, but the SOLRØD coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by F. Simonin. Ater 48 minutes H. Moritzen seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Boys making it 3 - 1. It was obvious that team Boys had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. With 51 minutes played, S. Ebbesen had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. Boys had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. E. Ustrup finished off the counterattack of SOLRØD from the left rather easily, making the score 4 - 1. The visitors got one back when S. Ebbesen finished off a pass from the left and scored after 57 minutes. 4 - 2 was the score. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

The most dominating SOLRØD player was without a doubt J. Puig. N. Gaysin on the other hand, had a terrible day. S. Ebbesen performed admirably for Boys. J. Davidsen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
