The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kingo, with 57 percent of the ball.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that TEAM-CFM had solid organisation. The goal to make it 2 - 0 was scored by A. Yurttaşer after 48 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by TEAM-CFM. At this point, it was obvious that the players of TEAM-CFM lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. TEAM-CFM's T. Satamo saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 49 minutes. Kingo's M. Bentsen was shown a yellow card after 51 minutes for slicing down an opponent. TEAM-CFM's T. Just had an excellent opportunity after 72 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! The corner kick from I.
