After 32 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Extrateres's H. Mignolet being carried off the pitch and replaced by V. Bârsan. Extrateres could have put themselves ahead after 36 minutes but J. Guillemot missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. It was 0 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Extrateres, with 65 percent of the ball.

After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, M. Kapteinat got himself booked. The manager of Sancez was not happy. 82 minutes in, the referee awarded Extrateres a penalty. P. Jung Laursen coolly slotted it home for a 1 - 0 lead. Extrateres claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

Most important Extrateres player was P. Stamati. V. Bârsan on the other hand, had a terrible day. A. Łuszczak performed admirably for Sancez. T. Agostino turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
