After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, C. Pătroi got himself booked. The manager of Esquecidos was not happy. After 77 minutes Racing's G. Costa Veiga contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. With 83 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Esquecidos showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 1 when G. Županski got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Esquecidos had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. The visitors' right side was dangerous today; F. Molina made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 3 - 2 85 minutes into the match.
