Gbf 1 - 2 FCF
(392672078)

27-06-2012 16.30
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Frandsen Arena saw a crowd turnout of 30000.
Thilo Roßgotterer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Nicolás Romeo and
Ahmet Talha Özcebe.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Gbf.
They fielded: Lazavik - Johnsen, Laudrup, Meßmer - Ferrarini, Glargaard, Odriozola, Lise, Borras - van Vreeswijk, Siñeriz.
FCF tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination.
Lineup: Morup - Bryde Andersen, Lyhne - Sellerup, Fadl, Bøge, Vandahl, Kirk Jensen - Grønlund, Astrup, Guldager.
Gbf saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
13 minutes into the game,
J. Grønlund had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide.
The guests almost went up by a goal after 17 minutes when
O. Guldager came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though.
The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when
G. Astrup was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 25 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead!
0 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Possession in this half belonged to FCF, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.
61 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but
U. Fadl, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide.
67 minutes into the game,
G. Astrup almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
After some beautiful movement down the left wing,
T. Glargaard scored for Gbf putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 69 minutes.
After 70 minutes, FCF switched
M. Morup with
T. Nibe, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, FCF's
O. Guldager was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes.
G. Asp was given a chance to change things around.
The visitors'
J. Grønlund was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 71 minutes.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 85 minute mark, Gbf's
M. Lazavik hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
FCF's
J. Grønlund managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 86 minutes. 1 - 2.
A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from
J. Grønlund after 87 minutes, and prevented FCF from going up another goal.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FCF, with 62 percent of the ball.
Most important Gbf player was
M. Lazavik.
However,
T. Glargaard made a disastrous appearance.
FCF's top performer was clearly
G. Asp.
S. Lyhne was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 1 - 2.
