It was an obvious ambition of PIWOSZE to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by D. Bonariva. At last, Litos's R. Kustner was able to backheel the ball in. 1 - 0. L. Cocu should probably have put his team up another goal after 8 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by A. Solonen kept the visitors in the game. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Litos scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for L. Cocu after 19 minutes. R. Kustner could have increased the lead after 30 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. H. Kluczyński received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 32 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. D. Bertè could have put Litos up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 33 minutes. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Litos enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

Litos's Y. Karydakis had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 80 minutes having been played. C. Cesareo was the replacement. The score became 3 - 0 at 86 minutes into the game, when Litos were given a penalty which L. Morel blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! After 87 minutes PIWOSZE's C. Tymrowski limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. A great save by keeper A. Solonen after 88 minutes kept the visitors in the game after L. Cocu struck from the left with a real cannonball. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Litos, with 59 percent of the ball.

Litos's best player was C. Cesareo. L. Cocu on the other hand, had a terrible day. PIWOSZE's top performer was clearly T. Armenteira. However, A. Solonen made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
