Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 22000 at FC Parket oraniště today. Vypáfnutý started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Lineup: Vass - Ogorodnikov, Merreot - Hietaniemi, Castro, Staicu, Berkovic, Martoni - Dědeček, Kocich, O'Reilly.

Parket were relying on their ability to counter-attack. The wings were the focus of most of Vypáfnutý's attacks today. Given a free kick close to the byline, Vypáfnutý tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let S. Hietaniemi slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 1, 19 minutes into the game. After 28 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave S. O'Reilly a chance to increase the lead for Vypáfnutý, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. Vypáfnutý had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. A drive down the left side allowed E. Staicu to get in close and score another goal for Vypáfnutý after 37 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. After 38 minutes, Vypáfnutý's C. Martoni burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. After 40 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed S. O'Reilly to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 5. By now, the players in Vypáfnutý felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Vypáfnutý enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 74 percent of possession.

O. Kocich fired a shot from distance after 50 minutes, but the long shot couldn't find the net for Vypáfnutý. After 51 minutes, the defensive line of Parket created a counterattack through the middle that gave J. Čapica a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. At 61 minutes into the game, Parket's J. Obšil deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 5. It might be a while before the fans see Parket's J. Čapica again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 81 minute mark. He was replaced by V. Točík. After 82 minutes, Vypáfnutý's P. Dědeček swiftly ran past V. Točík and nutmegged the keeper! 1 - 6. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, E. Staicu would have put Vypáfnutý up another goal 84 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. Parket were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 85 minutes, J. MacNure swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 2 - 6. Players in Vypáfnutý heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. S. O'Reilly of Vypáfnutý took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 87 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 2 - 7. This third goal completed a hattrick for S. O'Reilly. After the ball was lifted in from the left, S. O'Reilly was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 88 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Vypáfnutý, with 75 percent of the ball.

Most important Parket player was J. Johánek. J. Obšil on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Vypáfnutý player was without a doubt S. O'Reilly. On the other hand, D. Vass's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 7.
