Clouds darkened the skies at
citi arena as 2184 spectators turned up for the match.
Marco Carahuanco was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Andres Jõekallas and
Jonas Persson.
Milan had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Starters: Mirbach - Dankó, Romhányi, Chiritã - de Villenfagne, Madarász, Varga, Mambelli, Kobs - Salling, D'Antoni.
A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for JALOVEC.

Milan used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings.
JALOVEC seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
Many thought
B. Salling ought to have been awarded a penalty 8 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around
E. Korsvik after a determined run through the middle.
Milan were very close to putting themselves one up after 12 minutes as
G. D'Antoni got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide.
Some great play up the middle by Milan led to a chance for
V. Romhányi to score after 18 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.
Milan created a good opportunity to score 19 minutes into the match when
M. Madarász's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball.
Making his way up the middle 21 minutes into the match,
M. Madarász almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
E. Korsvik blocked it to keep the score level.
The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0.
Milan had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.
Milan were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
After a fine move down the middle
G. D'Antoni nearly gave the home side a goal after 49 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide.
52 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a JALOVEC substitution.
P. Vilášek came on for
W. Gabriëls.
56 minutes into the game, JALOVEC wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
L. Nørbjerg gave
P. Linhart a quick hug as he left the field.
After some beautiful movement down the left wing,
G. Mambelli scored for Milan putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 56 minutes.
60 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 1 - 1 as
V. Costa Paiva struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right.
Milan players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
Milan's
G. D'Antoni tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders.
As the 80 minute mark approached, the JALOVEC coach decided it was time for a substitution.
S. Vassilantonakis reluctantly made way for
A. Marvi on the pitch.
JALOVEC's
P. Linhart managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 82 minutes. 1 - 2.
Milan enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.
Milan's top performer was clearly
F. Varga.
M. Madarász was a disappointment, however.
Most important JALOVEC player was
K. Gietka.
E. Korsvik on the other hand, had a terrible day.
