(392983845)

03-07-2012 19.20
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 841 at
L' Inferno Vignolese today.
Marcus Claesson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Américo Bastos and
Marcin Hordejuk.
Vignolese had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
They fielded: Pojda - Kaut, Rolski, Cigliano - Della Ventura, Jalif, Alija, Morel, Damasco - Leingaertner, Ornelli.
Zarrapastrosa started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Cadorra - Aztarain, Zotes, Ventín, Navarro - Cervo, Góntar, Sánchez Bueno, Comesaña - Queimadelos, Roqueta.
The strategy for Zarrapastrosa was to use their ability to press.
Vignolese made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
R. Ornelli completely alone with keeper
B. Cadorra, who made a spectacular block.
0 - 1 was the score with 20 minutes played, after
A. Queimadelos cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Zarrapastrosa.
33 minutes into the match, Vignolese's
L. Leingaertner maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1.
Slack defending gave Vignolese a chance to take the lead with 36 minutes played, but
M. Cigliano's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition.
F. Jalif of Vignolese was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
One of many good crosses from
A. Della Ventura on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by
L. Leingaertner, who scored for Vignolese. 2 - 1
2 - 1 was the halftime score.
Vignolese claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.
R. Morel almost put Vignolese ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide.
Vignolese's
F. Jalif had an excellent opportunity after 58 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
64 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
J. Rolski broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for Vignolese.
With 69 minutes played, Vignolese put themselves up 4 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
R. Ornelli, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Vignolese coach let
G. Caroca replace
G. Damasco after 70 minutes.
Vignolese enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
Most important Vignolese player was
L. Leingaertner.
M. Cigliano on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Zarrapastrosa's top performer was clearly
S. Góntar.
A. Navarro was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 4 - 1.
