Hroch received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 11 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Sufferers fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Confident in their lead, Sufferers's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 24 minutes in, Zocelení's R. Buk received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 34 minutes, Sufferers sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached D. Rohovský, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 3. V. Männistö was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Zocelení's T. Balk managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 1 - 3 1 - 3 was the score after the first half. Sufferers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

After 51 minutes of game time, L. Salák had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but C. Felisi was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. After 52 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Zocelení on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by M. Ronowicz to make it 2 - 3. With 61 minutes played, Sufferers put themselves up 2 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was J. Pražma. After 64 minutes, Sufferers's L. Salák surprised everyone as he managed to intercept a pass intended for the opposing keeper and flip it in, making the score 2 - 5. The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when M. Ronowicz scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 3 - 5. C. Felisi got a fingertip on F. Janečka's shot from the left 75 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Sufferers had to make a substitution after 77 minutes. T. Bičan limped off the field and was replaced by M. Motyčka. With 87 minutes gone, Sufferers had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, D. Rohovský did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Zocelení refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, V. Männistö managed to slip the ball home for 4 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to Sufferers, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

The most dominating Zocelení player was without a doubt R. Buk. However, M. Ronowicz made a disastrous appearance. A. Hroch performed admirably for Sufferers. V. Jung on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 5.
