Blancke could have put Noiseau up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 43 minutes. A counterattack by Kaspath after 74 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but L. Piquemal, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. K. Petitjean increased the lead for Noiseau to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The players of Noiseau now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Noiseau, with 67 percent of the ball.

Most important Noiseau player was K. Petitjean. E. Joseph turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Kaspath player was without a doubt J. Benvenutti. M. Évesque was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
