Estudiantes enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.
E. Viñal could have increased the lead after 57 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.

K. Ivarsson remonstrated furiously with the referee after Inspection had another decision go against them. The referee had no alternative but to show him another yellow card and send him from the pitch.
