The crowd of 170 turning up at Piekło Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Dennis Kamchen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bertrand Marchetto and Mohammad Sad Ismail. ŁobÓÓzY tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Fourage - Choromański, Comensoli, Skřivan, Dahlstad - Torrea, Wawrowski, Modrzyński, Strzaliński, Małachowski - Rojas Manrique.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for HUWDU. They fielded: Szachewicz - Bisek, Hak, Wierciński - Lelewski, Tokar, Grochowiecki, Pieczkowski, Dyrcz - Łechtański, Kłosowski.

Dahlstad came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving ŁobÓÓzY the lead. The ŁobÓÓzY players could smell victory in the air. E. Rojas Manrique wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for M. Grosu after 70 minutes. 79 minutes into the game, HUWDU had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. ŁobÓÓzY managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when K. Wawrowski cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in ŁobÓÓzY's J. Skřivan increasing the lead to 3 - 0. By now, the players in ŁobÓÓzY felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. ŁobÓÓzY enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 74 percent of possession.

Most important ŁobÓÓzY player was E. Małachowski. J. Fourage was a disappointment, however. HUWDU's top performer was clearly R. Łechtański. On the other hand, S. Pieczkowski's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 0.
