Things were going to get worse for the visitors. F. Filgueiras squirmed through their central defence after 22 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. It was a bad day for the usually speedy T. Debreczi. The mud seemed to slow him down. T. Debreczi increased the lead for PNSK to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! At this point, it was obvious that the players of PNSK lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The referee showed Tarnów's K. Kleinszmidt the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to PNSK, who controlled the ball 80 percent of the time.

The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit L. Kacprowski just fine. PNSK's P. Svensson had seen it all before, so he waited patiently for the right opportunity. He would get no better chance than the one he took, but his shot was deftly blocked by the keeper. The home side's F. Filgueiras came close to extending the lead 73 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but M. Rzymełka managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. PNSK's 苏. 崇霖 (Chonglin) startled A. Huber with an unexpected pass. Unfortunately, the receiver was too stunned by the play to convert the perfect setup into a goal. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 81 minutes, PNSK tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. F. Filgueiras should probably have put his team up another goal after 83 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by M. Rzymełka kept the visitors in the game. Tarnów's A. Cherezzabornoguzaderischenko was shown a yellow card after 84 minutes for slicing down an opponent. PNSK enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 79 percent of possession.

P. Svensson performed admirably for PNSK. On the other hand, N. Arbon's play was disheartening. Tarnów's top performer was clearly S. Jarmużek. R. Stopyra turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
