Ojaniemi almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors' M. Trimone was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball. ACLaaminki took the lead after 20 minutes as a result of M. Ojaniemi's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. An accurate cross from M. Mieto of ACLaaminki was met with a wonderful glancing header from P. Borovskiy, hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 2 - 0. ACLaaminki solidified their lead at the 28 minute mark, as P. Kulanko dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. ACLaaminki's J. Ritakorpi got himself booked for a foul. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. ACLaaminki had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the ACLaaminki coach let M. Sava replace P. Borovskiy after 55 minutes. M. Ojaniemi wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. P. Kulanko squirmed through their central defence after 68 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0. The players of ACLaaminki now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why P. Kulanko found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. 74 minutes in, S. Clair made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but J. Ilvesviita refused to let the ball slip by him. ACLaaminki were given a gift! Verzele who didn't seem his usual powerful self on the pitch. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for ACLaaminki, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Cheers filled the stadium as L. Rajanto broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to ACLaaminki. ACLaaminki players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. 85 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M. Mieto broke through, making the score 7 - 0 for ACLaaminki. ACLaaminki enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

ACLaaminki's best player was M. Ojaniemi. J. Ritakorpi turned in a dismal performance, however. Jymypedot's top performer was clearly G. Perrot. On the other hand, T. Horáček's play was disheartening. The match ends 7 - 0.
