Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of selnica. selnica's J. Vayer managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 3 minutes. 0 - 1. With 17 minutes played, FENIX-DELTA's G. Bastianelli found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. Q. Begonte increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by selnica, with 55 percent of the ball.

selnica came close to extending their lead as T. Lescure delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 49 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. The referee showed FENIX-DELTA's G. D'Adorante the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With 56 minutes played, the FENIX-DELTA coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. C. Govi came on, T. Napoli had to leave the fray. A loud groan was heard from the fans of selnica, as R. Graić left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. M. Šojat took his place on the field. M. Mercandelli left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 61 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. M. Uvanović was the replacement. selnica increased their lead after 63 minutes when J. Krajewski broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, FENIX-DELTA's M. Sidarchuk was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 65 minutes. F. Pimpo was given a chance to change things around. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Hoz from FENIX-DELTA a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 68 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! T. Lescure of selnica had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. P. Angius came in to finish the match. M. Tuttolomondo tried to get a goal back for FENIX-DELTA but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. With the scoreboard showing that 81 minutes had been played, selnica nearly put themselves up another goal after I. Melāns came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 82 minutes in, FENIX-DELTA's M. Cruciani received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. There was no way selnica's P. Angius could continue to play after this, and no replacements were available! selnica enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

Most important FENIX-DELTA player was M. Tuttolomondo. F. Pimpo on the other hand, had a terrible day. selnica's best player was M. Duilo. However, M. Šojat made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 3.
