(393508454)

25-07-2012 12.15
The 4947 fans in attendance at
Mylgas were roasting in the hot sun.
Josef Nachbaur was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Johannes Ericsson and
Bo Andersson.
Nuha had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Guinot - Toura, Oidra, Vau - Garel, Ate, Gutiérrez, Pang, Schuablin - Manzini, Azuri.
Auckland started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Kankaanniemi - Ion, Newman Spaul, Soliński - Dubus, Cumberworth, Homer, St John - Pittard, Wick, Richards.
After 5 minutes, Auckland's
A. Newman Spaul made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 8 minutes played,
P. Manzini of Nuha made the score 1 - 1.
After some beautiful movement down the left wing,
P. Manzini scored for Nuha putting them ahead 2 - 1, after 24 minutes.
Nuha's
P. Manzini swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball.
28 minutes into the game, Auckland seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
inadequate level of organisation.
2 - 1 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Nuha, with 64 percent of the ball.
A review of the gameplan helped Auckland get back to a
solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
After 47 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
P. Manzini gave the Nuha supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1.
By then
P. Manzini had scored three goals - a hat trick!
The players of Nuha now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
B. Toura's curling free kick almost found the goal for Nuha, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it.
S. Vau increased the lead for Nuha to 4 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
Nuha's
C. Garel got himself booked for a foul.
B. Azuri left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 88 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
O. Chu Tong was the replacement.
Nuha claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.
Most important Nuha player was
O. Chu Tong.
S. Vau on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating Auckland player was without a doubt
B. Wick.
On the other hand,
E. Ion's play was disheartening.
The match ends 4 - 1.
