After our promosing 0-4 counter win over Dominican Republic in the first game, we continued the good performances by beating Malaysia 3 to 1. They attempted to surprise us on the counter, but failed to do so. In week 3, we visited El Salvador. Perhaps the game so far were we most deserved that victory, but it just wasn't our night. An early injury for Winger and Set Pieces taker Anbar Al-Mutawa, who would have been of great importance given the lack of Set Pieces for El Salvador's goal keeper, brought in a forward on the wing. Even after that early change, we dominated the game, except in the score: 3 - 1.

Tonight we hosted Serbia. A great team which reached the last 8 last World Cup. Again, UAE managed to be the better team for the whole match, but the only goal came very late, but it was on the right side: a 1 - 0 win.

This keeps us in second spot, but with Netherlands (away), Turkey (home) and Romania (away) next up, extremely hard matches will follow...
