Røde, Hvite, Blå can be 3 strange words for an Italian guy. But I know they're three colours, and I know they're specials to me.

Står vi en for alle og alle for en aren't just words from a foreign football song. They mean we're a group, and we work together for the best of Norge NT.

With this article, I would like to let you know something more about me, and my time as Norge NT coach.

I've been Norge NT coach for 5 terms. 40 months.

It's an huge amount of time, and I'm not interested to write a recap about our results, it would be quite boring, isn't it?

What I would like to do, is to describe you my feelings and emotions during this time, related to this job and my relationship with you (as community).

First of all, we need to start with my previous job, Kampuchea U20 coach.

Kampuchea, in Hattrick, is a little country with few players, and we were starting to build a good team, but obviously our players were quite poor compared to the other countries.

I was in the same group of Norge (managed by fleil), Cyprus (that had a strong rivalry with me, for my past job as Italy NT coach), Shqiperia (managed by one of my best HT friends, Marcogavi) and other strong teams.

My first match was against Shqiperia, and they won 1-0 at my home (234626842). I tried to defend (and maybe score on SP) but it didn't work, and they won the match. While the result was bad, it was a nice night because I was at home with some friend, including Marcogavi, following matches live eating a nice pizza.

The following week, I had to battle in Norge, against your U20 team. Previous season, with illusion as U20 coach, Norge U20 won the Bronze Medal, so it was a "mission impossible" for me.
Anyone was expecting an easy win for Norge, but I had another plan: a defensive tactic playing normal! It worked (234626849).
After the match, I received some critic from some Norwegian user, because they felt I played in that way just to help my friend Marcogavi. They were wrong, because I played in that way believing that my team could have created an upset, but you already didn't know me.

In the other matches I continued to create upsets, winning against Chile, Cyprus, Brazil and taking draws with Norge (again!) (234626870) and in Shqiperia, costing them 2 points and qualification.

After this good campaign, I wanted to show you something more about me, so I chose to run in Norge NT elections, with my ideas and my style, trying to win your confidence. It worked, and I was elected as Norge NT coach.

My love story with your HT NT was just beginning: each day, I always tried to do my best, to let you know I appreciated your confidence in me, trying to pay you back with good results.

We had highs and lows, we won a World Cup, and we ended in the last 2 terms with early eliminations.

HT changed during these 40 months, it's almost a different game now (talking about NTs).

But there's something will never change, and it's my love for Norge and my relationships with Norwegian users.

I hosted at my home Alex, former U20 coach, who bring me one of the best gifts I ever received: the HT World Cup!

It's a fantastic trophy, that I show to all my friends, and I really love it. Any time I watch it, it reminds me a lot of good feelings, like the famous/infamous "Waka waka" dance, recorded minutes after we won the World Cup: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgD1iuqQ2HY).

I remind when I told Alex that I would have tried to find some cheap flight to avoid to spend a lot of money, and in few hours he collected a lot of money trying to let me come anyway (I didn't accept his offer and I booked a flight anyway, but I have to say that when I've been in Norge it was almost impossible to pay something... there was always someone ready to offer me drinks or food!).

To meet a lot of you was fantastic. Anyone was simply exceptional to welcome me, people like Alex and Miffo gave me a tour of Fredrikstad, eating sweet Norwegian strawberries, visiting the town and then having a very very nice dinner, welcoming us almost as part of their families.

I played a football match in Ekeland, almost breaking GM-Ambient nose, and breaking a feet dito (but continuing to play, I'm not a Totti-style guy!).

We went to a local pub, and it was fantastic to stay with all of you: what a day! It doesn't matter if I was talking with the powerful NTA GM-Ronnie, with some owner of NT players, or with a guy playing in low league: I was able to meet part of this great community, chatting about good memories, about our personal lifes and other stuffs.

I'll keep these days in my best memories forever, and this is why I love Hattrick: it's like to live in a better world, where people is more friendly and where it's quite easy to make new friends!

During my time here I learnt few Norwegian words... and I still find hard to spell names with your strange letters.

But I keep in my heart the Røde, Hvite, Blå colours, and I adopted the FFK motto Står vi en for alle og alle for en, and it'll be always part of my HT experience.

And I'll always write and say HEIA NORGE, that aren't just 2 words to support a team, but that in my heart means quite more, reminding me of all of you, and at how much I had fun and I felt at home when I've been in Norge.

We're citizens of the world, but I think that some place is different, and Norge will be always a special place for me, because of you :)
