Today's Article: World Cup in Brazil.

* The World Cup in Brazil was a great event that many people around the world collaborated for.

* By the time of the lasts rounds of the WCQ, the favourites National Teams were invited to a short interview. We highlight the best moments of these interviews.

Check out:

Brazil is a know for beaches, football and carnaval. We asked to NT coaches what comes to mind when they listen the word 'Brasil' and what they think about the choice of this country to host the World Cup.

The highlight of the interviews was the NT coach of Netherlands,thunder(2203953) that was concerned about the home advantage in the midfield. , He said:

thunder, Holanda:" To be honest I didn't pay that much attention to whom were goning to host the World Cup. Most important for me was that Belgium or Ukraine didn't win the host competition. They surely have a squad that could win the World Cup, and the home advantage would make it very difficult for others to compete against them.

With all do respect, Brasil is not as good as those nations, thus the home advantage would be less important.

The fact that now the World Cup in real life as in Hattrick are hosted by Brasil is a very nice thing."

About the memory of the world 'Brasil the Bulgaria NT coach Milcho(3553013) went beyond the usual and dind't mention only beautiful women and football.

Milcho, Bulgária:"The second thing in my mind is a coffee. I love coffee :)"

It's very interesting know that coffe is appreciated in non-american. It'a a good way to keep yourself awake!

When the interviews were conducted, we still were in the World Cup Qualification. We asked to participants if they believed in the classification of their teams or even in getting the gold medal.

All respondents said they believed in the classification. About the finals, we asked them who will win the WC, allowing mention to three teams that had real chances to win.

The most cited teams were Germany and Finland, but another highlight were the words of the bulgarian coach Milcho(3553013) that said that luck is fundamental for a champion:

Milcho, Bulgária:"Why not Bulgaria ? :)
All teams will fight. Yes, there are some very strong teams, but you need luck to be a champion.:)"

Another highlight was the Chinese Taipei NT coach, tian_vorperis(2771808):

tian_vorperis, Chinese Taipei:"Finland, Switzerland and Romania."

The coach pointed, besides the common choice (Finland), the little cited Switzerland and, foir last, Romania, that nobody else pointed:

The quality of the team:

The quality of a national team is measured by the efforts of the community in training the players according the NT coach and staff's proposals. The work of a coach owes much to the base assembled by his predecessors.

We asked respondents if they had a team to be champion in Brazil's World Cup. Another question was made about community engagement, helping in training and scouting players.

Some really important points appeared in anwers, like what said to us the Spain NT coach Frustrat(7327606):

Frustrat, Espanha:"The quality of our team is good, like always in Spain; Compare teams that were trained with different rules is a lot complicated. The quality of our team is similar to other generations, even considering that this generation wasn't very tested. "

Indeed, the words of the Ireland NT coach chris20474(4117192) complement Frustrat(7327606),ones, the changes in training in oldest players the new assistants mechanincs and the inovation of aditional team changed the way of the training and the amount of players with quality.

chris20474, Ireland:"I joined the Irish community just 10 months ago, then I can say very little about past teams.
I used to work in Germany NT some seasons ago and the quality (a little) and the amount (a lot) are different in my country of origin. But I am satisfied with the players that I have and we are walking in the right direction."

The Italia NT coach, MastroTJ-71(4688367) reminded that luck is always important and besides Italy had better times the actual generation is very good.

MastroTJ-71, Itália:"Maybe in the past we had better players but this is an excellent roster capable to arrive at the end of the World Cup ...but, you know, in this game, luck is always the most important thing!! ;)

tian_vorperis(2771808) the Chinese Taipei NT coach, said that his NT is in constant evolution and that until that moment was possibly the best team in the country history.

tian_vorperis, Chinese Taipei:"There is little doubt that this is the best squad Taiwan has ever had. We will be better in the future, but for now, we have the best conditions we ever had. I think our team is good enough to reach the third round of the World Cup. "

It's very interesting that his target of achieve the WC third round wasn't reached because his NT was eliminated in the second round, but this doesn't minimize the value of the campaign. In comparison, Brazil, for example, not even went to second round.

The statements of Capri_n(3457834) Denmark NT coach, deserve atention:

Capri_n, Denmark:" IThe current team isn't the best team we have had. The best team was back whenDongKong(378609), Troelssj(1523134) and Junker(1540377) was managers

However, the Switzerland Nt coach Bergschlumpf(1399829) regreted the loss of some players that because of age or skills leave NT, opening space to less experienced players.

Bergschlumpf , Switzerland:"Now, we have a good team that is still a little inexperienced. Some old players had to leave last year's silver team. Let's see what is possible."

Community Engagement:

In Brazil we are in "snail's steps" when it comes to win something really significative, we chase the Hattrick Masters, the U-20 World Cup and the World Cup. Even with the efforts of our community there are too many players lost to wrong training regimen.

We asked to respondents how is the participation of community about planning the National Teams. Read what some of them said:

Positive Participation of Community:

Frustrat, Spain:" A resounding yes, the best of Spain NT is the number of people that help us. I am the visible face, but the users that train our players are who made our team one of the best in Hattrick."

thunder, Netherlands:" With the total numbers of Hattrick players desending through time, in our country the engagement is desending as well, just like in any other country.

But we still have a very active scouting team, whom are in the position to have some very dedicated teams supporting them with training the best players we have. So, the engagement is still there, but we must keep track on things whilest the numbers of managers is getting fewer."

Milcho, Bulgária:" We have already won the cup, because our community is engaged to the national team and produce good players. In the future, if we continue like that, i think we will win the cup again."

Capri_n, Denmark:" Yes, we are really good to produce players in Denmark and have many users which is offering their help to develop players for the nation team, which we are very thankful for."

tian_vorperis, Chinese Taipei:"We have a great team working for the national team here in Taiwan. Many people have devoted most of their resources to the improvement of the team and this creates favourable conditions for performance.

We also have a very loyal base of foreign managers who train our players superbly. I hope I can make them all happy."

MastroTJ-71, Italy:"Yes there is a very high number of users ready to sacrifice teams results and their HT-money, in order to train the best players for the NT :)"

Bergschlumpf, Switzerland:" In Switzerland, we have a great community who work for the national team. If this continues, we will continue to be a medal candidate."

We can sense the Switzerland NT coach's confidence Bergschlumpf(1399829) in his team of collaborators and specially in how the engagement of community reflect in a excellent performance in WC.

It should be noted that Switzerland reached the big final losing to the surprising Chile. Match:[/i](484403483)

Community didn't helped much:

Our friend sojam(4735838) (NT coach of Czech Republic) showed a little of sadness in his answer:

sojam:" In my opinion - definitely. Czech republic even already won one. But for winning the cup - engaged users and coaches is "just too little"."

chris20474, Ireland:" Winning the World Cup is very hard to everyone, but more harder to the smaller countries. I am not saying that is impossible but it needs the hard work of very people... and, of course, a little of luck. It's always good dream but winning the WC probably isn't a realistic goal for Ireland."

We invited the actual World Cup champion, the NT coach of Chile Frano_Battousai(1177705) to make some comments about the competition:

1 - Be a champion was merit or luck?

Frano_Battousai:" Both. Without doubt luck is important in a game like HT; but not without merit. It's impossible that luck do all the work alone!

Our merit was based in make a Workd Cup with little mistakes, we always mounted our team maximizing the chances of a good result, we always seek the victory even when our foe was superior. "

2 - What is the importance of community (and your collaborators) participation in this achievement?

Frano_Battousai:" We had a great support from our community and from our Staff "La Roja". For example, between the 4th Round, semifinal and final, we received more than 3500 posts from our people, supporting us and trusting in our work. Until today I am grateful for that.

Without the help of our Staff, scouts, trainers, coordinators and all the support from our community winning the World Cup would be impossible! "

3 - Why not stay commanding the Chile NT?

Frano_Battousai:" I never considered that. Not even in the first day of elections. Despite my short time available I keep supporting the new coach, that was in my Staff. He has a good part of the recent achievement.

The important is that we are united to support 'La Roja'."

This Article is comming to an end. We conclude that the Brazil WC was an excellent competition and the highlight was the interaction between communities around the world, encouraging and supporting their teams.
