The 36 higher ranked seeds all won away from home this week, so you must feel a bit surprised to be facing h00ligans this week?

I was definitely surprised to win in regular time, I was hoping to take it to penalties and sneak a win!!

You took charge of your team on 17th December 2008 (s37) and you've matched your best ever cup performance R5 in s43, 44 & 53 this season (s59). After six and a half years, what are your long term objectives for the club.

I'm just training up my 'keeper Leonard Raine (349079399), he's not far off NT level, looking to see how far he can get.

You'll find me in the Barrow AFC supporters bar! either drinking Vedett Extra Blond (http://www.howcoolbrandsstayhot.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Vedett-Extra-Blond.png) or a Gin & Tonic.

What do you think about the proposed changes to the match engine starting next season, with scoring on playmakers and playmaking on normal forwards now becoming skills that will increase ratings?

To be honest I have haven't looked at the changes, as a defensive trainer it's all about the back line.

You manager page states that you support Barrow, champions of the Conference North, and promoted to the Conference Premier. You must be ziggin' delighted with that?

Absolutely!! I'm ready for the new season, it will be tough but we've made some tidy signings, so I think we'll do okay.

Please tell us how/where you met your other half (or last conquest), and how he/she feels about your hattrick addiction?

We met at a funeral (yes, really!), she spends more time on Facebook than I do on Hattrick, so she doesn't mind.

You have a second team in Sweden, could you please explain why you would want or need a Word of Warning AFC in Sweden?

Word of Warning was a horse I co-owned (https://philipkirbynewsletterblog.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/word-of-warning.jpg) and I go skiing every year in Sweden, I thought it was a good combination.

When was the last time you kicked a ball, and what happened?

Within the last few days, as I kick the neighbour's kids' footballs back over the fence, nothing too exciting...
