Late one to Pause

In the cup this week, Prem Champions h00ligans knocked out SiEpica (540809901) with the underdogs scoring a late consolation goal through Dustin Pause. An even later consolation was the opportunity for their manager to sit in the interview hotseat this week, and to answer a few familiar questions.

Your team, SiEpica knocked out Premiership legends Ville Warriors in the last round (R7) (540699820). You played 2-5-3 with no central defenders and 47-45% possession. With ratings of 386 against 450 from the visitors, do you think you rode your luck a bit in this game?

Well ...no,not at all... :D xaaxaxa. Of course I do, but it was about time I got some luck in this game. Two weeks ago, just before the most important match for me in the league, I got my entire defence, my goalkeeper and my TDF injured... Thankfully they got better, and with a bit of good luck I made it through to get one more round in the cup.

You took charge of your team (as your 2nd team) on 6th July 2013, which by our calculations was the first season they became available (s52). Why did you choose England, and what has been your training strategy to get the team where it is today?

I chose England because I've lived here for 10 years and I wanted to get involved with ht-England as my second home.

My strategy is similar to what many other managers are doing - skill trading. Then, when I have accumulated enough profit for a star player - I go shopping on the transfer market, with a fat purse :) At the moment though, I am trying to find some young English players to train up.

You acquired your team in Bulgaria 06/11/08, and achieved a best of R8 in the Bulgarian cup, 18 months ago, but you seem to have refocused on training since then with your primary club, are you doing something similar with both clubs, or have you a different training approach there?

The approach is the same but the divisions are different. In Bulgaria I am in III and here at England I am in V. There is far less competition in my English league, and so I have an opportunity to do different things, especially with training and to be far more aggressive on the transfer market.

If you have a favourite tune from 2015, please provide a link to vimeo/utube/soundcloud for us to listen, but an older classic/Slipknot tune would be fine too.

As a manager with a platinum team here in England, you will no doubt have an opinion about the price increases to supporter. What will this mean for your 2nd team here in England?

Well ... yeah - It is getting a little bit expensive to play this game with a second team, but as I am a true fan of the game, it is maintaining my interest and I will just keep playing. It would be nice if the people in charge make some promotions from time to time...

(Ed. Not sure what Miro means by 'promotions', think he could mean game evolution, could be advertising but we've left it unedited for you to draw your own conclusions)

Please tell us your opinion about the proposed changes to the match engine, and player contribution revisions?

I think that everything that will make the game interesting or keep it interesting (as I see this to be) is good.

Please tell us how/where you met your other half (or last conquest), and how he/she feels about your hattrick addiction?

Xaxaxa good question...
I met her online (of course :D). She is both a little bit curious and annoyed by my Hattrick interest. This include the money I've spent on something like this, as well as the sleepless nights searching for and then trying to sign the right player, and of course the Tuesday nights that I'm missing from the dinner-table - watching my cup game ... :D

As a native Bulgarian, please could you tell us a few good or interesting places to visit in Bulgaria, and why?

Don't go to Sofia - there are too many people and its not that interesting. Do go to the Black Sea - Primorsko (http://www.spektar-palace.com/hotel-primorsko/snimki-ot-primorsko-3-c.jpg), Pomorie (http://www.balkanholidays.co.uk/files/images/resorts/BGPO_SHL_pomorie/image_01.jpg), Kiten (http://www.shirocco.ch/default/assets/Image/kite_big.jpg). The water is perfect and it it is quiet and peaceful. Or, go to the mountains - Bansko (http://banskoblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/Plato-Bansko.jpg), Borovec (http://www.avtobusi-pod-naem.com/02/images/borovec/boreovec-best.jpeg)- the nature is amazing over there ...

What was your first car (or bike) and what happened to it?

My first car I bought for my girlfriend. It is getting rusty somewhere in Sofia right now. My first bike was stolen, but I found out who did it, then told the police and the bike was returned to me by the cops. It was in a different colour mind, but still my bike. Two months after that, I sold it to a friend of mine for twice the price I paid ... ;) :)

(Ed. typical skill-trader a lick of paint is just like a sub-level of training - looks better but actually isn't that much different)
