3-1-2021 Hattrick Masters semifinal
Zurrieq Holland were eliminated from the Hattrick Masters today, losing to Italian champions UnicoGrandeAmore, in a match that we probably deserved to win.
"We are very sad to have missed out on this once in a lifetime chance to play in the Hattrick Masters final. The opposing manager sent me a message telling me that his team was very lucky to win today, but it does not console us. We are disappointed that we won't be representing our country in the final. This was our big chance to become the best team in the world, and this loss hurts us, but we are nonetheless happy to have made it among the best 4 teams in Hattrick. We hope to have made Malta proud"
The route to the semifinal was challenging and exciting, and Zurrieq managed to knock out the best teams from Ireland, Finland, Brazil, Slovenia, Romania, and most notably the Spanish giants, ex Hattrick Masters winners, and best long shots team in the world Dandy de Tazmania 2, in a thrilling 3-1 quarter final victory.
