Barrows manager releases statement

"Big Billy has served this club fantastically since we formed. He was an integral part of my plans when we started out. He bossed the midfield as captain and led by example. I would like to thank him for his dedication and service, his friendship and advice when I've needed it. He has always been fully supportive of any decisions made even when I had to make the hard decision to leave him out for most of the third season. In true Big Billy style though he reshaped his game and fought his way back into the team on the wing. As long as he stays fit he will play every game this season as a striker hopefully scoring some goals and delighting the crowd who will no doubt all be doing the "Big Billy" goal celebration he is so famous for. I would also like to take this opportunity to announce that "Big" Billy Buchan will be the first Barrows Player to be entered into our Hall of Fame. A place truly deserved."

With the start of the new season fast approaching, The Borough Red's have adopted a new strip.

We hope all our fans love the look of it as much as we do!

After remaining in tier 4, Emilio took the players to see the new StarTrek film as a reward and admitted he was a big fan of The Next Generation.

"People said it Khan be done and that I was a bit warped and out of my Vulcan mind to say we could stay up, but these guys know how to Kirk a ball about and Klingon for a victory. People have a new belief - like Borg again Christians, but i would still only give us a score of 7 of 9. At some phaser the season, like the last few games, I knew things could be bad, but sometimes having 10 forward thinking players is good.

Sometimes you need technical players, other times you need to Picard ones. Getting that right is the key. If it had gone wrong, make no Bones about it, nobody would have got off Scotty free. Increased attendances have helped to Riker few extra quid in, based on the Data to hand. True or not, I always Spock the truth"

Everyone in Morci was deeply moved after the license has been granted for league VI.

The sports director: "We've worked for this for 19 years, during all these hard times. Well, the current guys won't make it to the national team anymore, but they have their heart at the right place, and after we gave Adam a new haircut, we should attract some extra fans. Yes, we focus on football, but we need that kind of emotional component as well."
