saiNts United FC:
Season 39 begins with a bowl of laksa
saiNts began its 33rd season in HT-SG with a bowl of laksa at Laksa Stall of the Laksa King.
Many were worried that the bowl of laksa before the game would give saiNts' players tummy trouble but the final score of 5-0 proved otherwise.
Three of the four scorers were playing as defenders. Tai, Pek and Ong got on the scoresheet. The other scorer was youngster Ang Jun Ah, former youth at Saved United. Coincidentally, saiNts will play a tournament match against Saved next.

Esparta Utd:
End-Of-Season Talk
ZamMoreno admitted Esparta Utd have been producing below par performances. With consistency not on their side, ZamMoreno was back on the drawing board. Most of the players were given 5 days of vacation to rest themselves before the cup match next week.
In recent transfer gossips,
Esparta Utd's winger, Gualter Cruz was transfer-listed as he isn't part of the team's plan for next season. Deemed as a surplus despite netting 6 goals this season.
Meanwhile, Esparta Utd held a press conference to introduce their newest youth product, in the form of Gordon Soy. He was one of the talented kids in the youth team. He's capable of scoring with either foot and his positioning is great. He also have great vision, with passing accuracy of 65%. He's given the vacant no. 19 and most likely feature in the cup game next week.
Another striker will make way to give room for Gordon Soy, though it will most likely be a foreigner in the forward department.
