Interesting U20/NT opportunity

A lot is happening behind the scenes at the moment for National Teams. In my opinion positive changes for Uganda. At the moment, our country has never managed to qualify for the final of an U20 World Cup or National Team World Cup. The qualifications are always our final destination. Time to change this negative flow. I hope this article could be helpful to make a future change in this negative record.

Opportunity
There will be adjustments in the near future. In spring of 2021, a second tournament will take place in addition to the World Cup, in which African countries will also compete for championships. Since we as Uganda have a very small community but a very active one, this would be a great opportunity to achieve great results as a country.

Start with investing in the future
In any case, everything starts with the youth. Do you choose to open a youth academy or do you promote a player every week by investing in your scouting network? As a former u17 youth scout in the Netherlands, I can indicate that the youth team obviously takes a lot more time, but is also a lot more profitable at the end of the day in the long term. I therefore hope that everyone wants to continue to invest in their youth teams, because youth is the future. In addition to providing you with a nice financial boost for sales (players from Uganda are often more popular than players from large countries such as Italy or Germany), a good youth academy will also ensure a better performance of the national teams in the future.

Tips and tricks
1. Did you know that when a player's skill is optimal trained, you can see this by the yellow bars in his skills? If it is green, the player still has potential and it is advisable to continue training until he has reached his maximum.
2. Did you know that it has advantages to be in a competition of 4? When your competition has ended, you can immediately switch to another competition, so that you take half a week of training profit every 6 weeks.
3. Don't you know if your youth players have a specialty? Then always play creatively in your matches. You will then find out (most of the times) any specialty more quickly
4. Do not forget to arrange a friendly after every 3 league matches. This gives your players a free extra training
5. Do you want to know what the current skill of a player is, for example, scoring? Play 4-5-1 and put the relevant player on the striker spot. Train to score as first training and second training for example short pass. The training report will then state his current skill on scoring. Do you want to know what the player can achieve to the maximum? Do the same action, but then you train to score as a second training.
6. Did you know that if you do not choose a captain and set pieces taker yourself, the game will automatically pick the best option for you? This is an easy way to discover who has a high leadership and SP potential.

Don't be surprised to see that for a good player you can easily pay between 3 and 7 million and the absolute top players can often cost more than 10 million. The fact is that in a small country like Uganda, these types of players almost always play in a tournament, in contrast to large countries where there are often 3 similar talents.

Don’t want to invest so much in youth players but interested to have a u20 player in your team? Focus on wing back training or wing back training with set pieces. Our country has a lot of problems with this position in a lot of campaigns. Think about 13 defending / 10 wing and some playmaking/passing around 6. Or replace playmaking for set pieces level 12-14 and a level wing lower. Big chance for your player he plays one day a u20 match.
