SV-Harawaith clearly preferred using their formidable ability to attack in the middle. Fahrstuhl were relying on their excellent ability to counter-attack. After 21 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Fahrstuhl found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to weak. With 24 minutes played Leo Jantz almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. SV-Harawaith's Per Jespersson tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. After 32 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Fahrstuhl found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to weak. 35 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for SV-Harawaith to take the lead after a good cross from the right found Marino Deiana alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Leo Jantz was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by Marino Deiana, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. With 42 minutes played Janne Adolfsson almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors' Joop Ergen was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball. 44 minutes into the game, Bernard Wartemann finished off a Fahrstuhl left wing counterattack, making the score 0 - 1. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. During the break, Fahrstuhl's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. Lothar Toeroek was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a Fahrstuhl counterattack from the left after 68 minutes. His neat finish made the score 0 - 2. After 73 minutes Fahrstuhl's Henri Giraudet had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. Sebastian Mehlbek came in to replace him. Bernard Wartemann received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 75 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. The home team's supporters got excited again when Zdenek Opočenský broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 2. SV-Harawaith claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 95 percent.

Most important SV-Harawaith player was Zdenek Opočenský. Theo Prager on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Fahrstuhl player was without a doubt Eduard Wymann. On the other hand, Jonas Polenz's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 2.
