A brilliantly sunny day had enticed more people than usual to see the game. One club official counted 269 people along the sidelines of Little Dragons FC. The intense heat made it hard for players relying on strength or speed to shine. On the other hand, it provided perfect conditions for the more technical players. Starters: Reidy - Ubago, Copello, Galindo, Rodríguez - Sorvillo, Grissi, Gaiteri, Cascini - Capitanich, Mealla.

The coach fielded the following talents: Kjumbev - Krstev, Manojlovski - Kicevski, Angelkov, Mirchevski, Kicevski, Özkurt - Nastov, Trajchov, Ramaj.

Little Dragons FC entered the field in a 4-4-2 formation. The visitors, Mladinski, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Veles decided to play creatively. The referee showed Veles's Vanco Manojlovski the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A slight injury to his right calf muscle meant Juan Agustín Cascini had to leave the match early. It happened after 6 minutes. Dragons had no available replacements, and now faced the prospect of finishing the game with a reduced number of players. After 10 minutes, the visitors broke through on the right after some terrible defending. Petko Nastov put the ball away for 0 - 1. The home team coach had a few quiet words with his boys before continuing play. The young Dragons squad were attacking through the central midfield, but with a certain lack of focus. Wenceslao Gaiteri still broke loose through, but his shot went over the bar. Vanco Manojlovski was the target for the corner kick, but his deflection was blocked by the keeper. However, Veles's Petko Nastov happened to be in the right place for the rebound and scored the 0 - 2 goal as a result. After 22 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Petko Nastov to get through. He made the home side's keeper look like the rookie he is, and added another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. After scoring his third goal of the match, Petko Nastov ran over to his father to pose for a hat trick picture! The mere sight of Sebastián Marcelo Grissi was frustrating for Vanco Manojlovski, who didn't have any chance to keep up with the smooth manoeuvres of his opponent. Unfortunately for Dragons , the opportunity created ended up on the wrong side of the post. 25 minutes into the match, a well-timed pass from the left side gave Özgür Deniz Özkurt, of Veles, an open road to the goal. Seconds later the score was 0 - 4. At the halftime break, the score was 0 - 4. In this half Veles were the most energetic, keeping the ball to themselves for 66 percent of the time.

Kevin Reidy got a fingertip on Vanco Manojlovski's shot from the left in the 48th minute, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Looks like he hurt his wrist though, mummy is there to look after him. Good boy - now he's up again! Vanco Manojlovski remonstrated furiously with the referee after Veles had another decision go against them. The referee had no alternative but to show him another yellow card and send the angry boy off the pitch. After 64 minutes, Leandro Alfredo Mealla of Dragons fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was not impressed by the young lad's acting skills and booked him for diving. Veles's Petko Nastov received a play slashing through the home side's central defence after 67 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 5 goal. The loyal few along the sidelines were not pleased with that one. A drive on the left side created space for Veles's Zlate Krstev, who easily put the cross away after 83 minutes for 0 - 6. The match ends 0 - 6. Veles didn't seem to want to give the ball away in this half, which resulted in 67 percent of the possession.

Elías Capitanich performed especially well for Dragons - this one could be a candidate for the senior squad one day. Kevin Reidy needs a lot of extra training, however. The coach of Veles was especially pleased with Petko Nastov after the game. Mirko Mirchevski left the field with tears in his eyes, knowing he had been the worst player on his team.
