It was a bright and sunny day at fukooka, with 258 spectators in place, seeing a chance to improve their tans while also being supportive of the boys on the field. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. The picks for today were: Ketiš - Peter, Lorenčak, Salej - Frank, Puš, Prosen, Stojko, Bandirali - Pintar, Korun.

The boys who got to play today were: Martins - Baptista, Pimenta, Pimenta, da Costa - Carneiro, Alves Gonçalves, da Cunha - da Fonseca, Romanenko, Marreca.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team mali divjaki went for 3-5-2 while Fonchogal U19 has decided to play a 4-3-3 lineup. 15 minutes into the game, Albino Carneiro nearly did what he had been daydreaming about for weeks, giving Foncho U19 the lead. A prompt block by Šime Ketiš saved the home team that time. After 17 minutes Foncho U19's Ostromyr Romanenko was out wide on the left, where he found himself unchallenged and able to receive a fine through pass. The keeper came towards him, but not quick enough to cut the attacker off completely. 0 - 1 for the visitors. A haphazard combination through the middle gave Foncho U19's Albino Carneiro a decent chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score after 21 minutes was therefore 0 - 2. Thanks to a beautiful combination in midfield, Dejan Peter managed to reduce the score to 1 - 2 for divjaki. Many spectators missed the beautiful goal, instead engrossed in a discussion on suburban house prices. After 28 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Ivo Alves Gonçalves who increased Foncho U19's lead to 1 - 3. The referee confirmed the score as 1 - 3 when he signalled for the halftime break. Foncho U19, bringing their ball possession to 55 percent, seemed most ambitious today.

Aurélio da Cunha came close to extending the visitors' lead, when after a long ball through the middle he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal and, almost in shock, lifted the ball over Šime Ketiš. It went well clear of the bar. Did someone forget the pre-match briefing today? The Foncho U19 lads didn't seem to have a clue what to do, and their organisation level dropped to solid. Some fancy two foot dribbles by Štef Pintar left Hélio da Costa way behind 77 minutes into the game, but the shot was just wide. Felipe Pimenta could have made a name for himself when he, after 78 minutes, almost extended the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball looped into the middle, but the home side's keeper Šime Ketiš collected it. The home side passed back and forth through the central midfield, gaining ground nearly all the way down the field to the goal line. Finally, Štef Pintar tried to boot the ball past the keeper, but Miguel Martins was too alert to let it slip through! After 81 minutes, Felipe Pimenta increased Foncho U19's lead to 1 - 4 with a competent free kick that ended up in the net after being redirected by the outstretched leg of a defending boy. After 82 minutes, divjaki's Hijeronim Puš received a yellow card after ignoring the referee's order to tuck his shirt inside his shorts. Foncho U19 did not seem very confident about what to do on the pitch, the organisation level having broken down to weak. At the final whistle, the score is 1 - 4. Foncho U19 didn't seem to want to give the ball away in this half, which resulted in 55 percent of the possession.

The divjaki players gave Štef Pintar a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". Nedeljko Lorenčak showed he still has a lot to learn. The spectators agreed that the most impressive boy in Foncho U19 today had been Hélio da Costa. On the other hand, Ivo Alves Gonçalves's performance hadn't been very good at all.
