Apashe 2 - 0 tomini

The weather was decent, and some 205 people were interested enough in the game to visit Apashko Duvlo today. Starters: Gjyli - Nastev, Kuzevski, Binovski - Bozadziski, Stamenkovski, Trpkovski, Popovski, Rajkovski - Micev, Joshev.

The lucky starting players: Onere - Bonomo, Zanderighi, Onere, Muti, Rubado - Broglia, Battazza - Bianchi Carnevale, Peragnoli, Guerrieri.

FK Mali Apashi fielded a 3-5-2 lineup. For tomini, the formation of choice was 5-2-3. Apashe demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. Apashe's Venko Nastev was shown a yellow card after 9 minutes for using his elbow in an aerial duel with an opposing player. The corner was taken by Aco Stamenkovski and it reached Matej Joshev, who timed his jump and header perfectly. It's in! 1 - 0. Petar Popovski had a solid opportunity to put Apashe up another goal after 21 minutes, but he sent it wide. Apashe's Aco Stamenkovski looked like a potential match-winner there, but his rush down the middle after 24 minutes, and subsequent well positioned shot, was intercepted by a defender. 36 minutes into the game Fabiano Onere could see that the opposing goalkeeper was out of position and tried for a lob. The keeper was able to tip it onto the post, and the rebound ended up in front of Nicola Guerrieri who sent it wide. Clearly, he was a little over-excited there. After 39 minutes, Mihail Trpkovski found the key to the opposing defence and worked himself into position for a shot. Apashe nearly increased their lead there, but in the end the strike was denied by Moreno Onere between the posts. Maybe due to the uphill battle the team was facing, the tomini manager looked to change things around. After 40 minutes, Ezechiele Battazza and Fabiano Onere swapped positions on the field. tomini's counterattacks created a good chance for Fabiano Onere on the right, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Apashe didn't seem to want to give the ball away in this half, which resulted in 73 percent of the possession.

Still trailing on the score board, tomini adjusted their tactics after 46 minutes. Fabiano Onere had a quick chat at the side line, then switched positions with Italo Bianchi Carnevale. Danco Kuzevski should probably have put his team up another goal after 57 minutes, but Moreno Onere made a confident save and kept the visitors in the game. Several mothers standing on the sideline felt the referee was much too lenient when he only showed Petar Popovski of Apashe a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 60 minutes into the game. Apashe congratulated themselves after the 2 - 0 goal, which meant they had increased their lead. Rajko Micev came running from the right side and did not stop until he was standing inside the goal with the ball. Sensing defeat in the air, the tomini manager directed Ezechiele Battazza and Nicola Guerrieri to change positions with each other. This was 80 minutes into the match. At the final whistle, the score is 2 - 0. Apashe, bringing their ball possession to 74 percent, seemed most ambitious today.

The coach of Apashe was especially pleased with Rajko Micev after the game. On the other hand, Venko Nastev's performance hadn't been very good at all. tomini's Gianluca Carlo Peragnoli had a great game and was congratulated by his team mates. This lad could be going places! Moreno Onere left the field with tears in his eyes, knowing he had been the worst player on his team.
