Duck 4 - 3 Paquito

26 spectators had found their way to All-Stars Arena, despite the heavy rain. While a boggy pitch like this was an advantage for physical players, it really didn't help those who relied on speed or technique. The lucky starting players: Mihajlov - Edrevski, Postolovski - Bačarević, Xhaja, Lukarevski, Kaçaku, Eliskovski - Miladinoski, Konjanovski, Kamcevski.

The coach fielded the following talents: Dusso - Ascariz, Mengano, Marti, Dojas - Saenz Ford, Virgos, Pavioni - Zagharián, Cappelleti, Forestello.

Ducklings Struga fielded a 2-5-3 lineup. For Paco Paquito, the formation of choice was 4-3-3. Duck took a creative approach on the field. Paquito decided to play creatively. Gilberto Virgos nearly put the visiting team one up in the 19th minute, following an optimistic solo raid down the middle, but Mende Mihajlov stretched far enough to tip the ball to a corner. Paquito appeared uncertain how to play and their organisation was only passable. After 24 minutes, the home side made it all the way up the right wing to score. Simeon Kamcevski supplied the finish, receiving the ball on his chest and knocking it in for 1 - 0, giving his team the lead. After 28 minutes of the match had been played, the visitors defenders misjudged the movements of Duck's Daniel Miladinoski through the middle, leaving him one on one with the keeper. He pulled the trigger and the score was 2 - 0. After 30 minutes, Duck sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Daniel Miladinoski, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot and score the 3 - 0 goal. After 32 minutes, Angele Edrevski took a hard knock between his legs. He needed a long breather but were eventually able to continue the game. At the halftime break, the score was 3 - 0. Duck didn't seem to want to give the ball away in this half, which resulted in 59 percent of the possession.

A quick review of the game plan helped Paquito get back to a solid organisation. A few visiting spectators had momentarily dozed off, but as Walter Daniel Mengano scored the reducing 3 - 1 goal after 48 minutes, they jumped to their feet again. Paquito had used the right flank to set that goal up. Duck's Daniel Miladinoski wanted to play on, but in the 51:th minute the decision was made to substitute him for Simce Crvenkoski. A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field after 52 minutes. After regaining order the referee called Duck's Živadin Bačarević to one side and produced a red card for the player. After 53 minutes, Amador Forestello strained his groin quite severely and had to be helped off the field by the physio. Leandro Andrada had already been warming up, and came on for Amador Forestello. Juan Luis Saenz Ford had fun on his wing today, getting the knack of how to make a good cross-field pass. One especially promising was received by Leandro Andrada after 56 minutes, but the keeper managed to block the shot. The referee showed Duck's Simeon Kamcevski the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Paquito's Álvaro Cappelleti left the field after 77 minutes having twisted his hand in a collision, causing a slight injury. The coach had his head in his hands, as he realised he could not send a replacement onto the pitch. The team had to continue a man short. The coach of Paquito was embarrassed to see his players fail the tactical setup. Many played out of position and the organisation level of the team dropped to passable. Duck's Mirche Lukarevski looked like a potential match-winner there, but his rush down the middle after 80 minutes, and subsequent well positioned shot, was intercepted by a defender. 82 minutes were showing on the clock when Eduardo Omar Zagharián, veering in from the right, got a nice opening and was able to reduce the score for Paquito. That's 3 - 2. It's 3 - 3 for Paquito as Luis Fabián Pavioni used his head - in the literal sense - to put that in the net. Walter Daniel Mengano gets a well-deserved pat on the back from his coach for his fine corner kick. Duck came through on the left side with 88 minutes of play passed, and the attack ended as Janko Eliskovski gave the home side a 4 - 3 lead with a shot from a very narrow angle. The match ends 4 - 3. Duck, bringing their ball possession to 58 percent, seemed most ambitious today.

The spectators agreed that the most impressive boy in Duck today had been Simeon Kamcevski. On the other hand, Dobri Postolovski's performance hadn't been very good at all. The Paquito players gave Juan Luis Saenz Ford a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". The coach took Walter Daniel Mengano aside after the game, telling him it is okay to have a bad day on the pitch as long as you keep trying.
