FC TOP 2 - 1 dev_yth

Since the other team did not show up in time for kick off, the FC TOP coach had to find a suitable replacement. He called over a group of boys that were drinking cola by the pinball machines and told them to suit up. It was an exceptionally sunny day for the parents of the boys, and the friends they had persuaded along to Minor Arena LIBERTATUM - the total attendance came out to around 250 persons. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. The lucky starting players: Stjepanović - Batrović, Cekovski, Desnoski, Avramovski - Damcevski, Matevski, Dzambaski, Lazareski - Oshavkov, Kargovski.

Starters: Cani - Mickoski, Gjoreski, Dimovski, Serafimoski - Jonchevski, Demjaha, Alachki, Ingilizov - Ingilizov, Tavlı.

The teams both lined up their players in 4-4-2 formations. The FC TOP boys clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. FC TOP had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for central attacks. Making his way up the middle after 24 minutes, Marijan Damcevski nearly flicked the ball past the goalkeeper Bajram Cani, but misfired. He'd forgotten his boots this morning and had to borrow a pair, maybe that's why? dev_yth showed tactical thinking beyond their years after 25 minutes, as they caught their opponents with a counterattack down the right wing. The ball finally bounced off Atanas Ingilizov into the net making the score 0 - 1. FC TOP were so determined to attack through the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. There were sounds of teenage frustration as the referee denied Lazo Dzambaski a penalty after 39 minutes. The player had gone belly up after a challenge from the visitors' right back, but most bystanders agreed it had not really been much of a foul. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. This half the FC TOP boys hung on to the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

After 46 minutes, FC TOP substituted Aleksa Stjepanović for Neven Kosova, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Lazo Dzambaski was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. Ferki Bilali was given a chance to change things around. The bench was restless, and in the 46 minute the coach gave Luka Gochevski the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Tanas Oshavkov reluctantly left the field. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for FC TOP, and they were successfully passing the ball from the wing into the middle as a result. The loyal few spectators were delighted to witness FC TOP's Nikola Batrović rush down the right wing after 74 minutes, which lead to the equalising 1 - 1 goal. 80 minutes into the match, technical prodigy Ferki Bilali of FC TOP scored the 2 - 1 goal, having made Boro Serafimoski look like a complete fool. FC TOP's Ognen Matevski looked like a potential match-winner there, but his rush down the middle after 82 minutes, and subsequent well positioned shot, was intercepted by a defender. The match ends with a 2 - 1 score. In this half FC TOP were the most energetic, keeping the ball to themselves for 67 percent of the time.

The spectators agreed that the most impressive boy in FC TOP today had been Ljubomir Lazareski. Najden Avramovski showed he still has a lot to learn. The dev_yth players gave Atanas Ingilizov a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". On the other hand, Bajram Cani's performance hadn't been very good at all.
