Skaut 4 - 2 T-H

Due to the fairly good weather for football today, 227 spectators have come down to Lord Baden-Powell. Starters: Mateski - Velkoski, Tanasovski, Janjatović - Gochev, Topalli, Živković, Kezarov - Joksimović, Ololovski, Davitkovski.

The boys who got to play today were: Pavlovski - Dojcinovski, Ok, Januzi, Saveski - Lazarevski, Tutundzievski, Babacan - Muka, Panov, Toshanov.

FC Skaut U-19 fielded a 3-4-3 lineup. For T-Home, the formation of choice was 4-3-3. The T-H free kick 9 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But there was an idea to it - the misdirected ball was turned into a cross towards Tomislav Toshanov, who was waiting for it in the box. That's 0 - 1! Don't forget to thank the assistant coach for that gem of a routine! After several successful passes in a row on the right flank, Skaut got the ball through to Gjoko Gochev. He easily knocked it in for the equaliser, 1 - 1, in the 16 minute. After 19 minutes Skaut's Marko Janjatović won some bragging rights for the schoolyard. He found his way through the guests' central defence, and put the ball in for 2 - 1 - right between the legs of the keeper! The coach of T-H was embarrassed to see his players fail the tactical setup. Many played out of position and the organisation level of the team dropped to weak. Skaut solidified their lead at the 30 minute mark, as Aco Kezarov maneuvered the ball through the central line of defence and clipped in the 3 - 1 goal. Skaut's Dimche Ololovski looked like a potential match-winner there, but his rush down the middle after 42 minutes, and subsequent well positioned shot, was intercepted by a defender. 3 - 1 was the score after 45 minutes. In this half Skaut were the most energetic, keeping the ball to themselves for 58 percent of the time.

The boys of T-H were eager to get some feedback from their coach. His tactical review helped raise the team organisation to solid. After 57 minutes of the match had been played, the visitors defenders misjudged the movements of Skaut's Gligor Davitkovski through the middle, leaving him one on one with the keeper. He pulled the trigger and the score was 4 - 1. Did someone forget the pre-match briefing today? The T-H lads didn't seem to have a clue what to do, and their organisation level dropped to passable. Intentions were certainly good, but the Skaut indirect free kick combination after 64 minutes was easily anticipated by the defenders. That was a textbook example of how to defend a free kick - the attackers were left with few viable options. The visitors got one back when up-and-coming Tomislav Toshanov collected a pass from the left to score to make it 4 - 2 after 68 minutes. Skaut wanted more goals, and one nearly came as Gjoko Gochev received a cross from the right and unleashed a volley wide of the mark after 69 minutes. At the final whistle, the score is 4 - 2. Skaut pleased their coach greatly, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

The coach of Skaut was especially pleased with Dimche Ololovski after the game. Alekso Mateski showed he still has a lot to learn. The T-H players gave Tomislav Toshanov a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". Lalosh Januzi needs a lot of extra training, however.
