APM-U17 1 - 4 Slavoj

Some 198 persons were kind enough to visit Automobile Academy Arena this cloudy day. The coach fielded the following talents: Chulev - Chomovski - Gelevski, Veterovski, Janchevski, Kojzekliski - Ordevski, Vasilkovski, Shukalovski.

The boys who got to play today were: Netopilík - Munduch, Ovesný, Holík, Hála, Mašek - Pešula, Fako, Gunár, Kadeřábek, Waloszek -.

Alpa Mobil U17 entered the field in a 1-4-3 formation. The visitors, Slavoj Houslice, chose to start the game with a 5-5-0 lineup. APM-U17 took a creative approach on the field. APM-U17 did not seem very confident about what to do on the pitch, the organisation level having broken down to inadequate. The coach of APM-U17 was embarrassed to see his players fail the tactical setup. Many played out of position and the organisation level of the team dropped to weak. After 21 minutes, Slavoj's Samuel Fako stumbled on a pass intended for the opposing goalie. Thinking quickly, he flipped it in, making the score 0 - 1. In the game's 23:th minute, Petr Holík got it all wrong after being in a position to shoot from the edge of the box after an attack through the middle, but then proceeded to put his entire foot under the ball to send it soaring way over the crossbar, and afterwards tumbled down onto his rear end. Laughs all around after that one! APM-U17 had to manage with a reduced squad from the 26:th minute on, as Boro Ordevski got sent off for a foul in a free situation. As Boro Ordevski exited the field, Tihomir Shukalovski volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. Milan Janchevski eagerly took over as the new captain of APM-U17. Ladislav Mašek was in no condition to play on. He left the field limping after 26 minutes, with his right thigh bandaged. Ferdinand Pivec tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. Did someone forget the pre-match briefing today? The APM-U17 lads didn't seem to have a clue what to do, and their organisation level dropped to wretched. After 30 minutes, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as Martin Gunár deflected a misplaced long shot from the left into the goal. Did that come off his backside? Several mothers standing on the sideline felt the referee was much too lenient when he only showed Martin Munduch of Slavoj a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 31 minutes into the game. APM-U17 was awarded a penalty 37 minutes into the match and Tihomir Shukalovski managed, with some luck, to make it 1 - 2. It was 1 - 2 at the break. This half the Slavoj boys hung on to the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

The boys of APM-U17 were eager to get some feedback from their coach. His tactical review helped raise the team organisation to inadequate. Despite trying hard to find a passage, Trifun Kojzekliski just couldn't get through the visitors' right side defence 55 minutes into the game. Slavoj had a good opportunity to convert a counterattack after 62 minutes, but Milan Pešula's attempt to finish was easily stopped. Slavoj steamed on, recording the 1 - 3 goal with Petr Holík's penalty kick. He was very close to botching that one, but the bar saved him. 75 minutes into the game, Slavoj were awarded a penalty and Petr Holík was able to increase the visitors' lead to 1 - 4 after a firm, low, uncomplicated kick. At the final whistle, the score is 1 - 4. In this half Slavoj were the most energetic, keeping the ball to themselves for 51 percent of the time.

The APM-U17 players gave Saso Gelevski a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". Gorjan Chulev left the field with tears in his eyes, knowing he had been the worst player on his team. The coach of Slavoj was especially pleased with Milan Pešula after the game. Petr Netopilík needs a lot of extra training, however.
