A brilliantly sunny day had enticed more people than usual to see the game. One club official counted 253 people along the sidelines of Apashko Duvlo. For some players the sunny weather was bad news. It made Powerful and Quick players a bit sluggish. For Technical players, it was instead an advantage, allowing them to shine on the pitch. The picks for today were: Gjyli - Dzadzovski, Bozadziski - Stojcheski, Beqaj, Stamenkovski, Demaqi, Angelovski - Popovski, Ilioski, Bundalevski.

The lucky starting players: Forti - Favarato, Tagliaferri, Di Chio, Breitfeld, Pizzo - Olianas, Falvo, Cucchiarini, Guida - Mochelato.

FK Mali Apashi started the game in a 2-5-3 formation, whereas Anivsama U18 lined up in a 5-4-1 formation. Apashe displayed their ability to play creatively. AISM U18 demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. Apashe grabbed the initiative after 5 minutes, as Mihail Ilioski cut in from the right and, with some luck, shoved the ball in for 1 - 0. Having taken a hard knock between his legs, Mihail Ilioski limped off the pitch in a reduced state of dignity. He could not continue, managing only 10 minutes for his team this day. The replacement for the injured player was Atanas Rajkovski. After 32 minutes, Manesh Demaqi flashes past his marker, creating space for the second wave of attack. However, Tashe Stojcheski stupidly missed the ball. The corner kick went to Riccardo Falvo who headed it straight at goal. The keeper was in the right spot but fumbled the ball, giving AISM U18's Prospero Olianas an easy scoring opportunity: 1 - 1. The home side took the initiative in the game with a strike after 36 minutes played to make it 2 - 1. Andrej Dzadzovski was the key, having made his way into the box from the right, he casually slotted the ball past the keeper. After some hard work down the middle, Manesh Demaqi could have closed the game off after 42 minutes, but his finishing shot hit the post. It was 2 - 1 at the break. In this half Apashe were the most energetic, keeping the ball to themselves for 59 percent of the time.

Apashe's Tashe Stojcheski looked like a potential match-winner there, but his rush down the middle after 49 minutes, and subsequent well positioned shot, was intercepted by a defender. Moris Forti kept the visitors in the game with an amazing save after 74 minutes, following Atanas Rajkovski's cannonball kick. One for the TV cameras - had they been around. Aco Stamenkovski was in no condition to play on. He left the field limping after 79 minutes, with his right thigh bandaged. Dzhole Binovski tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. As Aco Stamenkovski left the field, the coach signaled to Andrej Dzadzovski to be the new set pieces taker. Gian Luigi Tagliaferri bypassed the opponents on their right side, advanced into the penalty area and gambled with a chip. The keeper fumbled it, making the score 2 - 2 with 81 minutes gone. After 83 minutes Ladan Beqaj demonstrated his speed to the visiting senior squad coach. After breaking loose, he dropped the ball to Aleksej Bundalevski who directed it past the goalkeeper. That means 3 - 2. Andrej Dzadzovski dreams about becoming a great free kick specialist, but he has a lot to work on yet. At least, his curling free kick found the goal for Apashe, but the visitors' keeper was there in good time to collect it. As the match wraps up the score is 3 - 2. This half the Apashe boys hung on to the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

The spectators agreed that the most impressive boy in Apashe today had been Petar Popovski. Andrej Dzadzovski needs a lot of extra training, however. AISM U18's Luigi Guida had a great game and was congratulated by his team mates. This lad could be going places! On the other hand, Aroldo Pizzo's performance hadn't been very good at all.
