WK-H 2 - 3 Apashe

Weather conditions were pretty good for football, and the lads were happy to see 252 people gathered to see their game at Dietmar Hopp Stadion. The lucky starting players: Strodl - Lolo, Beling, Zschertnitz - Machomacki, Uden, Endt, Birkmann - Ranftl, Buhlmann.

The boys who got to play today were: Gjyli - Stamenkovski, Ilioski, Dzadzovski - Milenkoski, Demaqi, Popovski, Bundalevski - Mishkovski, Beqaj, Angelovski.

Wilde Kerle Hoffenheim started the game in a 3-4-2 formation, whereas FK Mali Apashi lined up in a 3-4-3 formation. Apashe displayed their ability to play creatively. Apashe took the lead after 10 minutes with 0 - 1. Branislav Mishkovski showed promise as he placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper, having cut in from the left. WK-H did not seem very confident about what to do on the pitch, the organisation level having broken down to inadequate. Apashe appeared uncertain how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. Sławomir Lolo became the darling of the day after 21 minutes, dribbling past three players before slotting the ball in the bottom corner, making the score 1 - 1. Lacking experience with the current tactics, the players of WK-H kept running into each other on the pitch. They only managed a poor level of organisation. Blagoja Angelovski nearly put the visiting team one up in the 36th minute, following an optimistic solo raid down the middle, but Joseph Strodl stretched far enough to tip the ball to a corner. 1 - 1 was the score after 45 minutes. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams.

WK-H's coach repeated the basics of football tactics during the break, which helped his players achieve passable organisation afterwards. After handing out some oranges, Apashe's coach repeated his tactical instructions to the team. The boys finally got it, and were back at solid organisation when the whistle blew again. Did someone forget the pre-match briefing today? The Apashe lads didn't seem to have a clue what to do, and their organisation level dropped to solid. Coming round from the left, WK-H created a good opportunity to score 63 minutes into the game. Talented Raklef Birkmann shot, it rebounded off a defender and in the ensuing scuffle the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. The coach of Apashe was embarrassed to see his players fail the tactical setup. Many played out of position and the organisation level of the team dropped to passable. WK-H had a chance to take the lead on Przemysław Beling's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled away as his shot went just over the bar 78 minutes into the match. Lacking experience with the current tactics, the players of WK-H kept running into each other on the pitch. They only managed a passable level of organisation. Apashe's Kire Milenkoski came in from the right in the 81th minute, chasing a through ball, but the ball was too far away from his body and Joseph Strodl managed to snap it up. The coach of WK-H was embarrassed to see his players fail the tactical setup. Many played out of position and the organisation level of the team dropped to poor. After 84 minutes Apashe's Blagoja Angelovski was out wide on the left, where he found himself unchallenged and able to receive a fine through pass. The keeper came towards him, but not quick enough to cut the attacker off completely. 1 - 2 for the visitors. The away team's Ladan Beqaj took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 87 minutes, increasing Apashe's lead to 1 - 3. Lacking experience with the current tactics, the players of WK-H kept running into each other on the pitch. They only managed a wretched level of organisation. Thanks to a beautiful combination in midfield, Wilke Uden managed to reduce the score to 2 - 3 for WK-H. Many spectators missed the beautiful goal, instead engrossed in a discussion on suburban house prices. At the final whistle, the score is 2 - 3. This half the Apashe boys hung on to the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

The WK-H players gave Thorben Buhlmann a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". The coach took Joseph Strodl aside after the game, telling him it is okay to have a bad day on the pitch as long as you keep trying. The spectators agreed that the most impressive boy in Apashe today had been Ladan Beqaj. On the other hand, Branislav Mishkovski's performance hadn't been very good at all.
