Duck 7 - 0 PSG

A group of 255 people showed up at All-Stars Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. The lucky starting players: Jonovski - Panajotov, Strumenovski, Kotevski - Rarani, Hidri, Davidovski, Ngjelo, Aspasiev - Pachovski, Kotevski.

Starters: Semnani - Ebrahimi, Ersi, Setareh, Goudarz, Alidousti - Arbabi Jam, Haji Hashemi, Sobouhi, Akrami Abarghouei - Ghanavati.

Ducklings Struga entered the field in a 3-5-2 formation. The visitors, Pasaegadae Great U20, chose to start the game with a 5-4-1 lineup. Duck demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. PSG displayed their ability to play creatively. Duck scored the 1 - 0 goal with a penalty with 16 minutes gone. Jakov Davidovski delayed the spot kick for a minute, posing for the attending girls, then hammered it home. A cross coming in on the right hand side left Vahid Akrami Abarghouei alone in front of the goal after 17 minutes but he lost his cool and the shot was too loose. Did someone forget the pre-match briefing today? The PSG lads didn't seem to have a clue what to do, and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. The corner kick went to Zlate Strumenovski who headed it straight at goal. The keeper was in the right spot but fumbled the ball, giving Duck's Geron Hidri an easy scoring opportunity: 2 - 0. Duck were awarded a penalty 33 minutes into the game, and Jakov Davidovski managed to score - despite being visibly nervous about it. 3 - 0 for the home side. PSG kept trying to force their way through on the right side and Vahid Akrami Abarghouei got his chance after 35 minutes, but the home side's defence managed to clear the ball to a throw-in. Angele Pachovski was all smiles as the Duck coach thanked him for taking the score to 4 - 0, tousling his hair. After 40 minutes he had taken advantage of a good exchange of passes on the right and steered the ball into the net. 4 - 0 was the score after 45 minutes. Duck pleased their coach greatly, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

After handing out some oranges, PSG's coach repeated his tactical instructions to the team. The boys finally got it, and were back at solid organisation when the whistle blew again. Despite hurting his left foot at the 50 minute mark, Amir Hossein Ersi decided to keep playing. The 5 - 0 goal came 62 minutes into the game, on a penalty kick for Duck. Jakov Davidovski anticipated where the keeper was heading, and placed the ball in the other corner. After the third goal, Jakov Davidovski couldn't stop mentioning to his team mates that he had scored a hat trick. After 70 minutes, Dobromir Aspasiev found the key to the opposing defence and worked himself into position for a shot. Duck nearly increased their lead there, but in the end the strike was denied by Mehdi Semnani between the posts. 75 minutes into the game, Duck scored again. Goran Kotevski had picked up a stray ball, entered the box from the left, and then coolly rounded the goalkeeper for the 6 - 0 goal. PSG appeared uncertain how to play and their organisation was only passable. The home side's Jakov Davidovski twirled that free kick just right, putting Duck ahead 7 - 0 with 79 minutes of play gone. The match ends with a 7 - 0 score. Duck didn't seem to want to give the ball away in this half, which resulted in 60 percent of the possession.

The Duck players gave Goran Kotevski a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". Vanco Jonovski needs a lot of extra training, however. Majid Sobouhi performed especially well for PSG - this one could be a candidate for the senior squad one day. The coach took Mehdi Semnani aside after the game, telling him it is okay to have a bad day on the pitch as long as you keep trying.
