The rain was pouring down at the stadium today. The pitch was a disaster, due to all the rain. This spelled problems for the more sophisticated players, who usually could rely on speed or technique. For those relying on grit and strength, it actually meant an edge. The following players took the field: Shesterikov - Debacker, Yabru, Lehane - Vicioso, Glushko, Demangel, Le Quellec, Çeri - Sonsuz, Marçais.

Lineup: Di Tomasso - Stormbom, Haji Ahmadi - Briscoe, Ðuranović, Näkki, Martie, Townsend - Robeyns, Ancín, Lyhbeck.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Ac Perunasoze II went for 3-5-2 while A Team Of Ice And Fire has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. The terraces were silenced after 5 minutes when ATOIAF's Julio César Ancín put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. It was almost a goal for Perunasoze following Noé Marçais's good header after a corner, it went just over the bar though. After 22 minutes, ATOIAF's Henry Martie burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. Henry Martie of ATOIAF took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 24 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when Noé Marçais scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 1 - 3. Perunasoze's Saadettin Yabru got himself booked for a foul. Perunasoze didn't give in and with 33 minutes played Thomas Lehane was able to make the score 2 - 3 after an attack on the right. It was 2 - 3 at the break. ATOIAF claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

Boom! What a strike by ATOIAF's Tarik Briscoe! Firing in from 35 yards after 55 minutes, that is probably one of the best goals he's ever scored! 2 - 4. With 59 minutes played, Claudio Vicioso was very close to reducing the score for Perunasoze with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. The home team's supporters got excited again when Noé Marçais broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 3 - 4. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Claudio Vicioso from Perunasoze a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 62 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The visitors' Tarik Briscoe took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 64 minutes into the match. 3 - 5 for ATOIAF. With 67 minutes played, the Perunasoze coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Rafael Nechiti came on, Saadettin Yabru had to leave the fray. It took several tries, but Perunasoze managed to break through on the left after 71 minutes, getting the ball to Thomas Lehane who easily reduced the lead to make the score 4 - 5. The referee announced 3 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 4 - 5. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ATOIAF, with 51 percent of the ball.

Perunasoze's best player was Akıner Sonsuz. Thomas Lehane on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating ATOIAF player was without a doubt Joeri Robeyns. However, Francesco Di Tomasso made a disastrous appearance.
