27484 spectators had found their way to Monumental, despite the heavy rain. Loïc Guinard was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Nontas Konstantinou and Nis Fanøe. All of Metropolitana was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby. marck2.0 decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. The following players had been chosen: Baleiras - 保康 (Baokang), Pacheco, Frascari - Lozada, Bošeľa, Anthony, Heilig - van Zijl, Mathiasen, Valsjø.

CATXXX tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players took the field: Valls - Cozari, Alzérreca, Vidal - Arantes, Bengtsen, Jansson, Rabe, Caini - Barmettler, Stucki.

marck2.0 clearly preferred using their excellent ability to attack in the middle. CATXXX seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their outstanding level with that tactic. The terraces were silenced after 32 minutes when CATXXX's Fabrizio Stucki put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by CATXXX's Melchior Barmettler put the visitors up 0 - 2 after 35 minutes. marck2.0's 南 (Nan) 保康 (Baokang) was shown a yellow card after 37 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Unfortunately for CATXXX, César Alzérreca was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. Aron Cernat replaced him. After 41 minutes, CATXXX's Xuacu Vidal burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. Kristian Jansson did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. After 43 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Melchior Barmettler who increased CATXXX's lead to 0 - 4. The players of CATXXX now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to CATXXX, who controlled the ball 81 percent of the time.

Fabrizio Stucki received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 52 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The CATXXX fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The visitors' Melchior Barmettler took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 65 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for CATXXX. By then Melchior Barmettler had scored three goals - a hat trick! The game was close to savage at times, and marck2.0's 南 (Nan) 保康 (Baokang) received a second yellow card after 73 minutes; his ticket out of the game. The rain made it hard for players like Gesuele Caini to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. After 86 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Melchior Barmettler who increased CATXXX's lead to 0 - 7. The marck2.0 free kick 88 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of Søren Mathiasen, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 7! CATXXX's Ghenadie Cozari placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but Leonardo Arantes couldn't finish. A drive down the left side allowed Melchior Barmettler to get in close and score another goal for CATXXX after 89 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 8. CATXXX had most of the ball, with 82 percent of possession.

The most dominating marck2.0 player was without a doubt Steinar Valsjø. Riccardo Frascari turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating CATXXX player was without a doubt Melchior Barmettler. Ignasi Valls turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 8.
