It had rained all day, but 75000 hardy fans still made it out to Deep Blue Sea. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Vinício Barreirinha and Frank Luijkx. SHARKS started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Reinert - Moreno, La Porta, Welkenbach - Kingsley, Siankevicz, Jantzi, van Mook, Klette - Notarnicola, Udrea.

FightClub decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Åhnskär - Putz, Bürgin, Buerg - Mačak, Grand, Kerger, Chicot, Malyshev - Streff, Eilenbecker.

Nele van Mook did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. Heinz Bürgin of FightClub received a yellow card after 20 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Roger Streff was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. SHARKS broke through on the left 33 minutes into the game, with Eugenio Notarnicola firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. FightClub claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

SHARKS managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when Harry Jantzi cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. SHARKS's Mãdãlin Udrea swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Jazep Siankevicz could have put SHARKS up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 71 minutes. Gleb Malyshev's speed was clear to see after 76 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released Pier Eilenbecker who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 2 - 1. FightClub enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

SHARKS's best player was Mãdãlin Udrea. Leonard Kingsley was a disappointment, however. FightClub's top performer was clearly Nicolas Chicot. Heinz Bürgin on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 1.
