2240 punters turned up at Green beach, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Anders Håkansson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Éric Hein and Tariq Al-Shareef. The match took place on neutral ground. Mirijevo tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Božić - Atvars, Bruno, Paulsson - Luzon, Tiddia, Bernieri, Strumidło, Chişbora - Ridder, Salaun.

Radnik decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. Starters: Kowalik - Salva, Delibašić, Leizegui, Iguape - Del Rio, Marissal, Žilić, Gerardi, Huseby - Taysen.

Mirijevo displayed their disastrous ability to play creatively. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 3 minutes into the match, and Nicolas Marissal wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. With 21 minutes played, Lars Bruno of Mirijevo fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Reuven Luzon's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 28 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to Frederic Ridder who knocked it in for Mirijevo. 1 - 1! Mirijevo's Frederic Ridder was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 29 minutes. Relja Božić looked great 38 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' Frode Huseby. Emílio Salva had a good opportunity to give Radnik the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. With 40 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Mirijevo resulted in a counterattack that set Reuven Luzon free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Radnik claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

65 minutes into the game, Nicolas Marissal almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Mirijevo's Szymon Strumidło left the field after 66 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Isaac Llosa. Radnik took the lead 70 minutes into the game, making the score 1 - 2 after some elegant movement down the middle. Francisco Leizegui was the scorer. Some fine movement on the left led to a Radnik goal after 78 minutes, making it 1 - 3. Luka Žilić was noted down as the scorer. Confident in their lead, Radnik's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Mirijevo's Relja Božić had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 81 minutes having been played. Dejan 'Tam-Tam-Tam' Tadić was the replacement. A marvellous Mirijevo effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 82 minutes by Frederic Ridder, making the score 2 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Radnik, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

Mirijevo's top performer was clearly Dejan 'Tam-Tam-Tam' Tadić. On the other hand, Jesse Paulsson's play was disheartening. Radnik's best player was Nicolas Marissal. However, Tomasz Kowalik made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 3.
