61924 spectators arrived at Kamieļi Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and . Kamieļi started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Rasenheim - Batasov, Sējējs, Gavars, Tauriņš - Näscher, Bogun, Gaganov, Reyes - Lecoq, Lorente.

Ogreland had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. The following players had been chosen: Kindzulis - Robles Raya, Aladoğan - Reséndiz, Marien, Armea, Bielen, Mortensen - Sliapakou, Asanovich, Naporko.

The wings were the focus of most of Ogreland's attacks on this day, taking advantage of their world class level with that tactic. Damien Lecoq knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 1 - 0 after 4 minutes. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 5 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but Leonhards Kindzulis got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. Against a lesser team, Ogreland could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 7 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Yury Gaganov squirmed through their central defence after 21 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. With 29 minutes played, Kamieļi's Jānis Gavars almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. 32 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Fernando Lorente broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Kamieļi. By now, the players in Kamieļi felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 36 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Ogreland's Jorge Robles Raya being carried off the pitch and replaced by Ilmārs Lazdāns. The Ogreland captaincy was handed to Memati Aladoğan. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kamieļi, with 58 percent of the ball.

Damien Lecoq wanted to play on, but the Kamieļi coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by Nico Verreck. While defending the Kamieļi lead, Georgiy Bogun got a new role. 46 minutes in the game, his coach ordered him to change positions with Svens Sējējs. The guests got an opportunity to get a goal back after 52 minutes and Thomas Bielen took it from the penalty spot, scoring easily for 3 - 1. 80 minutes into the game, Kamieļi were awarded a penalty that Mikhail Batasov turned into 4 - 1 without a problem. A well-executed free kick by Mikhail Batasov after 81 minutes made it 5 - 1 for Kamieļi. Gustavo Adolfo Reyes had a fantastic opportunity to put Kamieļi up another goal 85 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. Kamieļi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

Jānis Gavars performed admirably for Kamieļi. Nicolas Näscher on the other hand, had a terrible day. Ogreland's top performer was clearly Nickolas Marien. However, Leonhards Kindzulis made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 1.
