The crowd of 18756 turning up at Uwe Seeler Fussballtempel today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Matteo Gadaleta was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Andreas Beckström and . A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Snoopy. Lineup: Buschdorf - Hunglinger, Ullemeyer, Spannocchi - Schlaak, Schrader-Graf, Graml, Leinfelder - Mehlmann, Langlois, Nömers.

Garching decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. The following players took the field: Franchini - Litwinowicz, Wall, Torstila, Valkonen - Feikert, Druet, Suokannas, Kick, Pronebner - Loureiro.

For their match strategy, Garching had decided to use their formidable ability to counter-attack whenever possible. With 15 minutes gone, Snoopy had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, Mark Nömers did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. With 21 minutes played, Mats Schlaak of Snoopy fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Snoopy's Andreas Leinfelder tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 25 minutes into the game, Garching seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Snoopy, with 59 percent of the ball.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Garching had solid organisation. A questionable penalty 51 minutes in gave the home side the lead, 1 - 0. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as Frank Graml knocked the ball home. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Snoopy's Jonas Hunglinger increasing the lead to 2 - 0. 68 minutes into the game, Garching had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. After 69 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Frank Graml might have resulted in another goal for Snoopy. However, Davide Franchini made a spectacular save. Mark Nömers was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! 74 minutes in, Snoopy appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. With 75 minutes played, Snoopy put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Maximilian Mehlmann, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Snoopy enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

Snoopy's top performer was clearly Maximilian Mehlmann. Martial Langlois on the other hand, had a terrible day. Benjamim Loureiro performed admirably for Garching. Davide Franchini was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
