The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 46757 had shown up at Leite Caixa Quentinho for the match. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Artur Cadonau and . Batnavo started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Clímaco - Arieira, Santos Fernandes - Araizaga, Polónia, Coelho, Casellato, van de Steeg - Oracz, Cayon, Ahčan.

DragaoFire-S.A.D. decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Carvalho - Liukkonen, Gonçalves, Žarkaitis - Skurjeni, Morlotti, Ingemann, Cabañas, Aarden - Cestr, Mastellone.

DragaoFire-S.A.D. seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their magnificent level with that tactic. Batnavo broke through on the left 6 minutes into the game, with Giancarlo Casellato firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. Batnavo's Patryk Oracz got himself booked for a foul. After 21 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 1 - 1 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by Stepas Žarkaitis. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for DragaoFire-S.A.D., as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. 23 minutes into the game, Stepas Žarkaitis almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Batnavo, with 53 percent of the ball.

Priding himself in being an active coach, the DragaoFire-S.A.D. manager gave new instructions to his players after 46 minutes. 50 minutes into the match, the DragaoFire-S.A.D. manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged. Giancarlo Casellato would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Mis Mourisca entered the game for Batnavo as the match clock showed 60 minutes. After a fine move down the middle Amir Ahčan nearly gave the home side a goal after 63 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. 65 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Batnavo substitution. Fayssal Mahfoud Filali came on for Cálico Cayon. With 69 minutes played, Zdravko Skurjeni of DragaoFire-S.A.D. fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Fayssal Mahfoud Filali was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Batnavo's Siedo van de Steeg managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 2 - 1 Batnavo managed to extend their lead to 3 - 1 when Fayssal Mahfoud Filali cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. After 78 minutes, DragaoFire-S.A.D. were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. Lukáš Cestr did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. DragaoFire-S.A.D. needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 80 minutes Ulrik Ingemann made way for Eugeniusz Dziwota. 81 minutes into the game, DragaoFire-S.A.D. had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. Batnavo increased the lead as Fayssal Mahfoud Filali struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. By now, the players in Batnavo felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 83 minutes in, Batnavo's Fayssal Mahfoud Filali received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. DragaoFire-S.A.D. kept trying to force their way through on the right side and Fabio Morlotti got his chance after 87 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. Hélder Clímaco wanted to play on, but the Batnavo coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 89 minutes into the game by Miguel Bexiga. Batnavo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

Batnavo's top performer was clearly Mis Mourisca. However, Miguel Bexiga made a disastrous appearance. Most important DragaoFire-S.A.D. player was Elias Carvalho. Cees Aarden on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 1.
